NICOLE KHOURY, Attorney / Project iAm

Nicole Khoury currently works as a public defender in Lucas County and is the leader of Maumee and Sylvania Courts. She graduated from UT College of Law in 2001.

Khoury has been widely involved in the local community as the founder and executive director of Project iAm, a 501(c) (3) organization that works to help distribute funds to families living with autism in northwest Ohio. She has also worked as a co-founder and board member of the Pride of Toledo Foundation, hosting Toledo Pride annually, as well as co-creating and organizing the Caly Cares Foundation providing chemo care packages to pediatric cancer patients.

Khoury has received multiple awards for her service, including the District Award for Community Service from the Ohio State Bar Association in 2012 and being voted one of Toledo’s most inspirational in 2012. She describes herself as the oldest of three sisters, girlfriend of one, and a friend to many.
