JASON CONKLIN, J. Conklin Consulting president

Jason Conklin earned his Bachelor degree in Business and Accounting from Tiffin University in 2007. In 2009, he started a business consulting firm, J. Conklin Consulting. And in 2011, he founded Take Command, which specializes in business consulting for the fire service. Since 2009, he has consulted with over 200 small businesses, 30 nonprofit organizations, and 20 volunteer fire departments.

Conklin serves on the Volunteer Committee of the Ohio Fire Chief’s Association, is a member of the Sandusky County Fireman’s Association, and Northwest Ohio Volunteer Fireman’s Association where he was a past committee member. Because of his dedication and commitment, he received the Fremont Exchange Club’s 2015 Firefighter of the Year Award. He was one of only 20 firefighters from across the nation to be selected to attend classes at the National Fire Academy in both 2010 and 2012.
