Ebonie Jackson currently serves as the finance director for the Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority. Jackson also has a reputation of being able to improve the finances of organizations, having generated annual revenues of up to $120 million in a range of positions at various companies.

She currently serves on five different boards and organizations working to better Toledo, including working as the financial trustee of the local Jack and Jill organization, which is a group of mothers focused on nurturing future African American leaders. Jackson also serves as a trustee for the Ohio CPA foundation board and as a member on the Toledo United Way education committee.

Jackson has also been honored as one of 28 CPAs under 35 from across the country named to the inaugural class of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Leadership Academy—though she said her most rewarding role has been being a wife and mother.
