John Pezzino works as the client service executive for Hylant, where his role with the commercial insurance team allows him to work at a strategic level with business clients while also leading / mentoring the rising stars on its service team and engaging with the community in a meaningful way.

Pezzino earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Northwood University in West Palm Beach, Florida before returning to the area and earning his MBA in strategy and general management from Bowling Green State University (BGSU). He is also a Leadership Toledo graduate, a certified insurance consultant (CIC) with designation from The Institutes, and a board member Accelerator Series graduate with Aly Sterling Philanthropy / EPIC Toledo, among other achievements.

Pezzino serves the community as a mentor / instructor for Junior Achievement; part of the leadership for EPIC Toledo; as a previous board member and membership committee for Sylvania YMCA / JCC; as a previous advisory board member for the BGSU Insurance and Risk Management Institute; and as a board member for the Regional Growth Partnership (RGP), among a range of other positions.
