Ben Snyder is the lead pastor for one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in the United States, Cedar Creek Church, which has approximately 1,500 members, and more than 8,000 regular attendees at the church’s five campuses. He leads a team of almost 100 full and part-time employees and more than 2,300 volunteers. Prior to his current position, Snyder served as the regional campus director and member of the church’s senior executive team. In 2014, he delivered an Easter weekend message to more than 25,000 people.
Snyder was selected as the “Top Religious Leader” by the Toledo City Paper’s Best of Toledo 2015, and was a runner up in the same category in 2013. He is also an advocate of the Global Leadership Summit, helping enable more than 1,200 leaders with varying backgrounds from northwest Ohio.
Snyder has completed six marathons, earning his personal best time of 3:17:25 in the 2014 Columbus Marathon. He has completed five Tough Mudder competitions, consisting of 10-12 miles of mud and obstacles built to test mental grit, camaraderie, and physical fitness. In April, Snyder and a team of close friends competed in their first-ever 24 Hours of LeMons, an endurance race where participants compete with cars that were purchased, fixed up, and track-prepped for $500 or less.
