Brittany Gibbons is a New York Times bestselling author, woman’s body advocate, and internet personality. She runs a blog, brittanyherself.com, which reaches 500,000 readers a month and focuses on women’s body advocacy. She has been the face of Lands’ End’s plus-size line since 2012, Dear Kate’s since 2013, and ModCloth since 2015. She is also working on her second memoir since publishing her first titled, Fat Girl Walking.

Gibbons has appeared on GMA, Today, Steve Harvey, Dr. Oz, and more to speak to women about loving their bodies, often appearing in a bikini on stage. She has also stripped down into a bikini in New York’s Time Square every year from 2011-14 to bring awareness to women’s body advocacy.

In 2016, Gibbons launched Project Curvy, where she works with various fashion brands to surprise plus-sized women with complete makeovers and self esteem help. She has been recognized for much of her work including winning SXSW’s Best Women’s Online Site / Magazine from 2009-2011 and receiving Goodread’s Humor Book of the Year award in 2015.
