Angela Lucas is the executive assistant to the Mayor of Toledo and currently is an active public speaker for Girl Scouts of NWO, the NWO Health Information Management Association, and the Women Who Lead series, among others. She is now also the co-chair of the City of Toledo Human Relations Commission and a member of The Links, Incorporated, a national network of women transforming communities of color.

Lucas served as the co-chair and chair of the Cherry Street Mission’s $8 million capital campaign and served on the 25th Anniversary Committee for Mom’s House of Toledo, helping lead the effort to raise $1 million. She also previously served as finance director on Wade Kapszukiewicz’s successful mayoral campaign, coordinating efforts to raise more than $500,000.

Lucas has served the community as a previous executive director of King’s Kids Academy, as a member of the Community Board at the University of Toledo Eberly Center for Women, as a committee member of Welcome TLC, and as a proxy for the Mayor on the CareNet board.
