Brittany Ford is a program analyst with Lucas County Department of Planning and Development. In 2013, she launched the local immigrant inclusion initiative, Welcome Toledo-Lucas County (TLC). In her work with Welcome TLC, she has been featured in local and national media outlets and publications.

Ford has led projects including Lucas County’s achievement as a Certified Welcoming community. She was also lead for Lucas County receiving a national Gateway for Growth Challenge Grant, and just this year, was instrumental in coordinating language access, interpretation, and translations for the Coronavirus response of the Lucas County Emergency Operations Center and Toledo-Lucas County Health Department.

Ford is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s of arts and a graduate of Teachers College at Columbia University with a Master of arts. She has spent time serving in community leadership positions on boards and committees, and has held two City of Toledo Mayoral appointments.
