DR. RAGHAV KHANNA, The University of Toledo

Raghav Khanna, PhD, is an assistant professor in the electrical engineering and computer science department at The University of Toledo (UToledo). In this role, he serves undergraduate and graduate students as an instructor, and research adviser. He is also the director of energy engineering at UToledo.

Dr. Khanna also conducts research in the area of efficient green energy. He has received numerous federally sponsored research grants related to energy, intended to facilitate proliferation of renewable sources such as solar and wind power. He has acquired over $1.5 million in research money for UToledo, from the US Department of Energy, US Department of Defense, and NASA.

He disseminates his research in peer-reviewed high impact journal publications, and has also been recognized with a range of awards in Toledo.

Dr. Khanna participates in several community service activities, including as a Sylvania STEM Center volunteer; in the professional Toledo chapter of IEEE; and as a Big Brothers mentor; to name a few.
