Liz Michalak is the associate vice president of operations for ProMedica Toledo Hospital & Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital and the ProMedica governance office. She oversees the day-to-day operations of ProMedica’s largest hospital campus, which serves over 500,000 patients a year and is staffed by more than 4,500 dedicated health professionals. In addition, Michalak oversees the operations of ProMedica’s 25 boards, committees, and councils and works with the system’s 300-plus community trustees.

Michalak earned her Bachelor’s of science from The Ohio State University (OSU) and her Master’s of healthcare administration at the University of Minnesota. She is also a 2016 graduate of Leadership Toledo; a 2016 graduate of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy; and a 2016 graduate of the EPIC Board Member Accelerator Series.

Michalak is active in the Toledo community and is currently the vice chair for the EPIC Toledo advisory committee and a member of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Northern Ohio leadership committee. She previously served on a number of other boards and committees in the area as well.
