Sheri Copanic, AVP, compliance, and risk management, Welltower, oversees compliance and risk management at Welltower, which includes global regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, insurance placement, and claims management. Her leadership projects at Welltower include the creation of a regulated captive insurance entity, helping create the Welltower’s women’s network, and more.

Copanic earned her undergrad and graduate degrees at Baldwin-Wallace College. She recently finished a term as chair of Women’s Initiative of United Way, which during her time as chair, obtained 50% match funding from the State of Ohio and rolled out Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) to all of Lucas and Wood Counties.

Copanic also serves the community as a member of the United Way campaign cabinet; a United Way leadership donor; a volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House of Northwest Ohio; and a steering committee member for the Marathon Classic Women’s Summit.
