Trevor Deeter is the owner of Deet’s BBQ, in which he conceptualized and opened five fast-casual restaurants, two food trucks, and a full-service catering business, all beginning in 2010. He also created #GrubsForScrubs which fed 9,100-plus frontline workers throughout the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, all via community donations. Deeter also kept his entire staff of 80 on during the pandemic to ensure everyone had income and was gainfully employed.

Deeter attended Central Michigan University for a fine arts graphic design degree. He has been recognized for Deet’s BBQ with numerous articles by the Toledo Blade, stories by 13abc, WTOL, and the Maumee Mirror.

Deeter is proud of the way his business handled this COVID-19 pandemic and how Deet’s was able to help the community through #GrubsForScrubs. Deeter aspires to provide food that makes people happy and also to provide a safe and exciting workplace for his team.
