EMMA HELVEY

Mosser Construction

Helvey as Director of Marketing and Business Development at Mosser is responsible for guiding the sales efforts at Mosser’s $125+ million business. In her role, she leads project development for some of Mosser’s largest projects. This year she led a team that developed a 70-acre site for a manufacturing client, securing over $1 million for site infrastructure. She also led efforts to win a warehouse and distribution center, locking in a storm water solution that will save over $500,000 in site costs. These two projects effectively doubled the typical sales for this sector. Helvey’s marketing team successfully led the submittal process for the “Build Ohio” award Mosser earned for their work at the City of Toledo’s Collins Park Water Treatment Facility. She is a member of the Mosser Group’s Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Mosser, Helvey’s career consisted of neighborhood revitalization for a non-profit, and serving as Assistant to the Mayor of the City of Lansing where she directed an effort to raise $1 million for the mayor’s gubernatorial primary race. She also established a consulting firm.

Helvey has served on the Wood County Economic Development Executive Board of Directors for four years and chairs a committee for engaging membership in the economic development process. In the community, Helvey serves on the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association Toledo/Northwest Ohio Chapter and was the 2023 chairman of the Go-Red for Women campaign that is approaching $1 million.

Helvey is a graduate of Michigan State University.
