William Lewis serves as President & CEO of Tolco Corporation, a supplier of janitorial, foodservice, industrial and various other products. Since assuming the leadership role, Lewis has instituted changes to improve the workplace culture and the lives of its employees. Since 2018, he has instituted an employee recognition program, attendance bonuses, monthly birthday celebrations, and a set of company core values. Starting pay was increased by 60% and promotion from within elevated several team members to supervisory roles with increased salaries. By focusing on people and giving them the tools to thrive, company sales, output, and performance increased dramatically.

In the community, Lewis is passionate about conservation and the outdoors. He serves as president of the Board of Trustees for the Black Swamp Conservancy where he plans and organizes fundraising events and worked on the 5-year strategic plan. He is a member of Toledo Rotary and YPO Maumee where he engages with other young Toledo area professionals. His industry associations include the International Sanitary Supply Association, the Sanitary Supply Wholesale Association, and the Sanitary Suppliers United Network.

Lewis achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and attended Philmont scout ranch. He is an avid mountaineer, having climbed peaks in the U.S., Mt. McKinley in Alaska, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, he spent his spare time exploring nearby wilderness areas. He earned his MBA on weekends at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business while working full-time at Tolco.
