Toledo Lucas County Public Library
Lucas Camuso-Stall, Director of Government Relations and Advocacy at the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, is the library’s lead organizer of the Greater Toledo Digital Equity Coalition. Raising $200,000 for a county-wide survey to better understand digital inequities, he leveraged a $125,000 grant to conduct listening sessions on digital connectivity issues in nine NW Ohio counties influencing the Ohio Digital Equity Plan to make broadband investments. In addition, he worked with Friends of the Library on a library levy renewal campaign which won with 72% approval.
In the community, Camuso-Stall served on the Board of Equity Toledo as both Secretary and Board Chair, and the committee to restore “Toledo Loves Love” wall. He currently serves as a board member of Equality Toledo Community Action and Keep Toledo Lucas County Beautiful; and is a member of the Citizens Review Committee, City of Toledo; Reinvest Toledo, Legislative, Advocacy and Policy Committee; and Democratic Party Communications chair.
A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Camuso-Stall was the recipient the “Public Relations Student of the Year” award. Other awards include “Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion” from the Toledo American Advertising Federation, and the Community Impact Award from Toledo Rotaract Club. He is an Eagle Scout and graduate of Leadership Toledo Signature Program.
