ProMedica
Will Yenrick, Associate Vice President of Operations at ProMedica, began his career at ProMedica 14 years ago as a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist and advanced to his first lab leadership role at age 23. In his current position, he has oversight of daily operations and leadership across the hospital campuses. He has provided leadership on improvement projects including a $2.5 million operating room and surgery department renovation and $5 million critical infrastructure and facility upgrade at Flower Hospital, and $.5 million expansion of the cardiac/pulmonary rehab and heart failure clinic at Bay Park Hospital.
During COVID-19, Yenrick served as the Operations Section Chief in the health systems incident command structure that included developing system-wide processes to ensure the safety of employees, patients, and visitors. From 2018-2021, he was Metro Region Acute Care Laboratory Director and in 2020, he led the initiative to deploy rapid PCR COVID testing instruments across all ProMedica hospitals.
In 2022, Yenrick led the initiative to sustain and transition the Bay Park Hospital Food Clinic to be fully supported through volunteers and philanthropy. Since then, it has seen significant growth and is on pace this year to provide food to over 1600 individuals, a 40% increase. He also developed a scholarship program with the ProMedica Foundation that supports local students, hospital employees, and employee’s children pursuing healthcare careers. Over the past two years, the program has provided 35 scholarships totaling $35,000.
Yenrick serves on the Board of the Eastern YMCA, and on the Eastern Maumee Bay Chamber of Commerce. He was a volunteer head coach for the Rossford Baseball Club U8 Gray Team in 2024, and was head coach for Rossford Tee Ball in 2023, and team administrator for his son’s GTFC soccer team. He served as a mentor for The Ohio State University Health and Rehabilitation Sciences mentorship program.
He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Bowling Green State University.
