AMANDA DAVIS
Toledo Fire and Rescue
Amanda Davis is a firefighter and EMT for the City of Toledo, where she serves on the front lines of public safety with courage and commitment. She is also the founder of Down for a Clause, a nonprofit that has raised more than $205,000 since 2011 and has provided a “dream Christmas” for over 700 children in need.
Her leadership continues through civic and youth engagement. As chair of the United Way’s African American Leadership Council, Davis plays a key role in advancing equity and strengthening community impact. She is also an outspoken advocate for teaching safety to youth throughout Toledo, empowering young people with life-saving skills and awareness.
Her recognition as a 20 Under 40 honoree reflects her dedication to service, leadership, and creating meaningful change both in and out of uniform.
