AMANDA DAVIS
Toledo Fire and Rescue
Amanda Davis is a firefighter and EMT for the City of Toledo, where she serves on the front lines of public safety with courage and commitment. She is also the founder of Down for the Clause, a nonprofit that has raised more than $205,000 since 2011 and has provided a “dream Christmas” for over 700 children in need.
Her leadership continues through civic and youth engagement. As chair of the United Way’s African American Leadership Council, Davis plays a key role in advancing equity and strengthening community impact. She is also an outspoken advocate for teaching safety to youth throughout Toledo, empowering young people with life-saving skills and awareness.
Her recognition as a 20 Under 40 honoree reflects her dedication to service, leadership, and creating meaningful change both in and out of uniform.
