Daniel is part of Nationwide’s innovation team, where he helps bring new digital products and experiences to life—work that has earned national recognition and U.S. patents for its impact and creativity.
He also serves as a Professor of Practice in the University of Toledo’s College of Business and Innovation, teaching and mentoring students in business strategy and innovation. Daniel is the lead author of Contemporary Business (Wiley) and its Canadian edition, textbooks used in more than 150 universities across North America.
Previously, he worked with global brands including Hilton, Verizon, and American Airlines on large-scale transformation initiatives through his role at Root Inc., now part of Accenture.
A familiar face in the community, Daniel also serves as the on-field and in-arena host for the Toledo Mud Hens and Walleye, helping energize local fans and celebrate the spirit of Toledo.
His recognition as a 20 Under 40 honoree highlights his leadership in innovation, education, and community engagement—bringing creativity and connection to everything he does.
