Sinan Alo is the cofounder and current vice president of the Halim Clinic, a free medical / dental clinic in Holland. According to Alo, he understands the importance of providing care to those without insurance and giving back to the community. Last year, Halim Clinic had 583 appointments, serving 269 medical / dental patients. This year, the Halim Clinic raised $37,000 dollars from donors and received $7,122 in grants, which will help add employees and serve more patients.

Alo is also the medical director of echocardiography at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital; the medical director of cardiac rehab and CHF Clinic – Mercy St. Charles Hospital; a structural echo cardiographer; and a core faculty member for the Mercy St. Vincent Cardiology Fellowship.

Alo serves the community as vice president of the Masjid Saad Foundation (MSF) executive committee, which he has organized with note taking, agendas, and tasks. He also runs social media for the Mosque and has been enhancing its Facebook page and email messaging. Alo is most proud of initiating the Friday Night Live Program, in which one whole family comes to the Mosque to socialize, play, learn, and pray.
