ELIZABETH BALDWIN, professional opera singer/voice and acting coach
Elizabeth Baldwin has performed in over ten operas since 2010, including the Toledo Opera’s “Ladies in Red Opera Gala.” She has been recognized with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from St. Ursula Academy and won the grand prize at the Nicholas Loren Vocal Competition in 2014.
Baldwin was born and raised in Sylvania, then went on to obtain a Bachelors of Music degree from Bowling Green State University, a Masters of Music Degree with an emphasis on opera performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and post-Masters work at the Boston Opera Institute on the campus of Boston University. She also studied with renowned opera stars Carol Vaness, Timothy Noble, and Myra Merritt, and she now enjoys a busy opera traveling schedule of her own.
In between opera contracts and travels, Baldwin supports local art programs, volunteers with local charities, and says one of her greatest passions is working with the next generation of singers and actors at her coaching studio here in Toledo.
