REBECCA SHOPE, attorney at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick

Rebecca Shope has been honored by the Ohio Bar Association for Excellence in Employment Law, appointed by Judge James Carr in 2014 to the Advisory Group for the United States District Court Northern District of Ohio and is currently serving a three-year term as the youngest appointee in the Western Division. In 2014 and 2015, she was named as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star, an annual listing of lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Shope also served on the EPIC Toledo Advisory Council, is a Toledo Club board member, and serves as board liaison to the Family and Tavern Committees. She is an advisory board member to the Harbor House of Toledo, board secretary of the Junior League of Toledo, and advisory board member of PRIZM, among other community activities.
